Welcome back to a new year of the Austin chapter of ASHRAE! Whether you are a member or interested in becoming one, a student or a professional, we are looking forward to seeing you at the meetings. This year will be full of great opportunities for anyone and everyone to learn practical technical and professional skills to advance your career in Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning.

The first meeting of the year, we focus on membership promotion and look to learn some fundamentals on best practices in smoke control and stairwell pressurization in a panel discussion with some experienced professionals from the Austin area. The panel comprises a fire alarm contractor, a fire alarm engineer, and a building automation controls contractor. Learn more about the panel members below! Since this month is also about membership promotion, we recommend that you bring a colleague with you to the meeting.

Hope to see you there! If you have any questions or would like to find out more about the perks of becoming a member, please see our website:
