Hello Austin ASHRAE! Please join us for this month’s meeting, hosted at EEA Consulting Engineers during lunch on Thursday, 2/19. The main presentation will cover Packaged Pump Systems for HVAC.
There will also be important announcements around the Austin ASHRAE Expo on 4/16 and the ASHRAE Summer Conference, which is coming to Austin 6/27-7/1.

Main Presentation
Title: "HVAC Pump Packages”
Learning Objectives:
- Define the operational boundaries and components of packaged vs. field-built pump systems
- Analyze ASHRAE 90.1-2022 - DP and "Function of Desired Flow"
- Compare Differential Pressure (Linear) control vs. Quadratic Curve logic
- Explain "Wire-to-Water" efficiency sequencing and its impact on part-load KW
Meet the Speaker:

Jason Hence – Technical Sales Manager – HVAC Systems USA & CA - Commercial Buildings
Bio:
Jason Hence has 17 years of experience with Grundfos, currently serving as Technical Sales Manager for the Commercial Buildings team. After 15 years as a District Sales Manager across various territories, he now focuses on his role as Technical Sales Manager – HVAC Systems on growing the Grundfos HVAC pump package business in the USA.
He began his career with a seven-year tenure at ITT/Xylem (Goulds Pumps) as Territory Sales Manager for the NYC/NJ market and Market Development Manager in Texas. Across his career, Jason has developed a strong understanding of the commercial building pump markets with a strong focus on partner relations and business growth.
