The ASHRAE Austin Chapter is looking for volunteers to help staff our ASHRAE activity booth at the UT STEM Girl Day event!

We will be hosting the Keep-A-Cube activity to demonstrate heat transfer and insulation concepts.

This is a great opportunity to engage with students and families in our community, share what ASHRAE does, and help inspire the next generation of engineers and STEM professionals.

Volunteers will assist with answering questions, handing out materials, and representing our chapter throughout the event. No prior outreach experience is required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to support STEM education.

Volunteers will be asked to attend a short virtual preparation meeting where we will discuss details for the day, including where to park and safety protocols for the day. ASHRAE will be providing lunch for all volunteers at the shift change.
